Description and Basic Information ::

| The regular baseball season of the Atlanta Braves is played at Turner Field. Over the last decade, the Braves have been the most successful of all of Atlanta’s professional sports teams. They are perpetual playoff contenders and have been referred to as “the team of the ‘90s.” Beloved to most Atlanta residents, they won the World Series in 1995. In 1999, a special celebration in honor of Hank Aaron’s record-breaking 715th home run was held here. |
